ABOUT

I grew up in a small town called West Liberty, Ohio. I have always been highly outgoing and skilled at talking to different people. I found my passion for broadcasting my senior year after taking a Broadcasting class. 

As a full time student at Kent State University, I am pursing a degree in Journalism with a focus in Broadcast, as well as a minor in Public Relations. I am expected to graduate in May of 2022. I have always been passionate about pursuing information effectively and easily. I work well with others and have always had strong communication skills. I have a lot of skills when it comes to editing, social media, and interviewing.

I anchored and reported for a local news and radio station over the summer of 2021. I gained hands on experience as an MMJ and learned so much. I gathered news from police reports, reported on local events in the community, and anchored the news on the radio multiple times a day. I made audio packages and uploaded and updated the website all throughout the day.

I have been highly involved with Kent State’s TV2. I am an anchor on the weekly newscast and I am involved with two entertainment shows. I film and produce a weekly video that is aired on TV2 as well as on my YouTube channel. Being involved with TV2, I have gained hands on experience in the field and have learned strong leadership skills.

I am looking forward to graduating and pursing my career as an anchor, MMJ, content creator, producer, or entertainment host.​
